“ Cute and comfy café with heaps of inside and outside seating. Overall I'd be keen to come back to try the rest of the menu! • Beef rendang ($25): delicious - perfect amount of chilli and lovely fork tender meat. Could be improved with more coconut and lemongrass in the curry / coconut rice / roti instead of pappadum. As others have said, the side salad was incredible with a great vinaigrette. Initially I felt it was slightly pricey but the price was reasonable given the portion / sides. Would be nice if the meal could be ordered at a discount without salad / rice / pappadum as it was a bit big for me with everything. • Small coffee ($4.80): it was okay; slightly bitter. • Apple strudel ($9.50): generous amount of fruit. The other sweets on offer were very tempting... Service was super friendly and fast, ordering at the counter. Nice upbeat jazzy background playlist. Lunch menu from 11:45am - 1:45pm. 1% card surcharge. ”

“ We ordered a risotto and a meat pie, they both came with side salads. The meals were excellent but both were upstaged by the little side salad. It was amazingly delicious, such variety and flavours. Excellent friendly staff and an oasis under the shade. Well done Malabou! ”
